​Chamois stalking can be organised in Bosnia, Serbia, Romania and Slovenia. Throughout the centuries Slovenia has been rated highly for amazing Alpine hunting experience. The hunts are organised on the southern side of the Julian Alps and Karawanken. The population is well managed and even an average fit hunter is able to get this quarry at the foot of the mountain.

Those who are fit enough to hunt chamois high on the slopes and peaks of the Julian Alps, however, deserve this well earned trophy. We recommend you to reserve at least 3 - 4 days for hunting, adding one day for arrival and another for departure, if you desire a highly rated trophy. The best time for hunting of an old buck is during the rut in November. Additionally, Chamois stalking in Slovenia can often be mixed with fly-fishing during September (e.g. marbled trout).
